Altered Addiction - Acoustic Rock Duo

Altered Addiction is an acoustic rock duo act that plays popular rock cover tunes that you
know from their “electric full band versions”, stripped down in a acoustic format.
Created by David Vignola (guitar) and Renee Gardner (vocals), they wanted to do
something different. They didn’t just want to perform the standard boring acoustic songs
that every singer / songwriter plays in the clubs and cafe’s. “We wanted to be a little
unique and not just do what everyone else was doing” says David Vignola. “We also
wanted to pick songs that everyone knows but may have forgotten about and present
them in a special way” says Renee Gardner. Some of the different artists Altered
Addiction covers are:

The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Heart, Led Zeppelin, 4-non blondes, Train, Bon Jovi, The
Cranberries, Melissa Etheridge & much more.

In addition to performing popular cover music, Altered Addiction also performs original
music as well and is getting ready to go into the studio to record their first CD of all
original music. Due to be released in the spring of 2012, David said “I am really excited
to do an all acoustic CD with just one voice and one guitar. No fancy overdubs or
harmony’s. We want it to sound as we do LIVE”.
